Black and White Fine Art Photography
For the past fifteen years, being in nature and photographing her
beauty has been my form of relaxation and spiritual fulfillment. I
have shot around the country, but am continually drawn to the stark
beauty of the mountains, deserts, and wide open expanses of the
American West. Living in Colorado provides many opportunities to
further pursue my photographic interests.
I am largely self taught in the photographic arts. I have taken
assorted classes, seminars and workshops over the years, as well as
always viewing images of other photographers and learning from their
craft. Some of the photographers who have influenced me are John
Sexton and Paul Caponigro.
I have found the best teacher of all though to be experience, and
shooting on a consistent basis. I can't think of a single
photographic journey in which I haven't learned some further nuance of
the light and how it interacts with the world around me.
