About Erika A. Bach

Photography

I grew up with photography in my blood. My Grandfather was an amateur photographer who took photographs during WWII. He passed this love of his onto my Mother who then gave it to me. Since I was exposed at such an early age it gave me an opportunity to explore this media.

I attended a fine arts college with my major in photography. I learned so much about photography as a fine art and realized that I was not a traditional fine arts photographer. I also realized while working for a commercial photography studio that I was not totally interested in the idea of commercial photography. Somehow I have fall outside of both of these ideals. I have a passion for creating images that can capture the eye and/or the imagination of my viewer.

I am now a freelance photographer who has taken up the challenge of shooting pet portraits(and it is not as easy as it may seem).
